Гатс, also known as the Black Swordsman, seeks refuge from the demonic forces pursuing him and his loved one, as well as revenge against the man who branded him as an "unholy sacrifice." Supported only by his titanic strength, skills, and sword, Gats goes against his grim destiny, constantly struggling with a fury that threatens to strip him of his humanity. "Berserk" is a dark and heavy tale of brutal sword battles and ominous fate, executed in the style of Shakespeare's "Macbeth".
