The plot revolves around Neuro Nogami, a demon who feeds on secrets and mysteries. He has come to the human world to indulge in the sinister intentions of people whose criminal nature has imbued them with negative energy. However, the demon must avoid exposure, as that is the law of the human world. To this end, he makes a deal with the schoolgirl Yako Katsuragi, promising to help her unravel a strange mystery. Thus, the main task of the duo becomes satisfying Neuro's insatiable appetite.
