Akari's first friend on Aqua is Aika. During their first meeting, Aika is 16 years old and she is a pair in Himeya. Aika is the sole heiress of the Himeya company, but she is not very happy about it, as most of the company's employees are not sincere with her. The only person who is strict and demanding towards her is her mentor, Akira. Aika often argues with her, despite (or perhaps because) they are similar in many ways. Her trademark quote is: "Embarrassing phrases are forbidden!" Although Aika is a responsible and reliable friend, she can easily cry, which is why she is often called a crybaby. The object of her admiration is Alicia Flores from the Aria company. Over time, she begins to develop feelings for the gnome Al. In chapter 58, Aika becomes Prima, taking on the second name "Rose Queen" (Japanese: 薔薇の女王; English: Rosen Queen). After that, she becomes the manager of Himeya's new office.
