Масиро Моритаки's classmate, who also goes by the nickname Shuujin. After discovering Moritaki's talent for drawing, he proposed forming a manga artist duo, where Akito would handle the writing duties. At first, Moritaka declined, but later changed his mind. He later married Kae Miyoshi, the friend of Miho Azuki.
