Demon with whom Yuichiro Hyakuya made a contract. Constantly tells Hyakuya that people cannot be trusted. A former vampire who became a demon and was imprisoned in a demonic sword. When he was still human, his family was attacked by people, and Ashera and Krul lost each other. Ashera became a slave to Shikama Doji, and then turned into a vampire from Yuichiro's blood. He was one of the candidates to become the new Michaela, but failed. Shortly afterwards, he, along with others, became a black demon and lost his memory. His memory began to return gradually, and he fully regained it when Michaela became a demon. Having regained his memories, he began working for Shikama again and attacked Michaela, but failed, as Yuichiro intervened. Shortly afterwards, he was eaten by Yui, as he tried to prevent him from resurrecting Mika.
