Хайтер's adopted daughter. After his death, she was placed under Friren's guardianship. Fern grew up to be a strict and mature person beyond her years. She acts as a mother figure to the members of the squad. She constantly helps Friren with simple daily tasks, such as waking her up, dressing her, and preparing meals. She is indulgent towards Stark, despite them being around the same age, scolding him when he goes to bed late. Despite her outward stoicism, Fern is easily upset and can behave in a childlike manner if she is hurt or offended.
