Идзуми Симамура

Natsumi's aunt, who passionately desires to become a mangaka and practices drawing battle manga, which Natsumi openly considers boring. She cannot stand dogs and small children, but at Natsumi's insistence, she looks after Mirai when her niece is at school. She constantly and unconsciously entertains the future child. Over the course of the narrative, she develops a fondness for Mirai, although she tries not to show it outwardly. She made her debut as a mangaka after drawing a story about Natsumi and Mirai, abandoning her initial passion for shonen manga.
