Линали Ли's older brother, the head of the European branch of the Black Order, was once a promising young scientist who gave up his work in China to come to Europe for his beloved sister. Despite his responsible position, he often slacks off and does not focus on his duties. His large office is often covered in a thick layer of unsigned documents. Komui's worst nightmare is Linali getting married without telling him, which is often used to wake up the lazy boss. Additionally, he wears slippers instead of boots. Despite first impressions, Komui is fully aware of the responsibility he has taken on. He sincerely cares for every member of the Order and does everything in his power to help them, both the Order as a whole and each individual Seeker or Exorcist. He displays remarkable composure when receiving the bodies of fallen comrades, greeting them with the words "Welcome back, thank you for your efforts." It takes immense effort for him not to succumb to despair himself, and even more to prevent others from doing so. Komui takes the burden of the feelings towards the deceased upon himself, believing that someone must sacrifice their emotional strength, which is already at its limit, and this means being the Senior for all his charges. Never forgetting his duty, he follows the chosen path without ever straying from it.
