Yamakita, a second-year university student, is obsessed with acquiring a power that surpasses the abilities of all others. In his pursuit to become the strongest, Sambé gains the ability to transform into a monster with a sturdy body capable of withstanding even point-blank gunfire. He is not interested in collecting coins and simply wants to engage in sparring matches with other collector-monsters. He has studied various martial arts, but upon acquiring his new abilities, he desires to create his own fighting style, unrestricted by the limitations of the human body. In a battle with Shuichi and Claire, he is defeated, but he acknowledges their strength and becomes their ally.
