The story takes place in the early 1930s. A boy named Landy, who lives with his aunt and uncle in Switzerland, finds a girl during a hike in the Alps who has survived an airplane crash but has lost her memory. They give her the new name Judy and take her in, caring for her. Several years later, she decides to learn about her past, and the only clue is a song called "Alpine Rose" that she constantly hears in her head. The original manga was published in 9 volumes, and the reprint is in 4 volumes. The translation uses scans from the reprint edition.
