Hinana Hanadzawa, the main character of the manga, appears to her classmates as the perfect high school student. She is intelligent, serious, and a member of the student council. However, unknown to others, she secretly dreams of a true love affair with a handsome prince. Instead of reading academic books, she reads romance novels and spends her weekends watching melodramas at the cinema rather than in the library. One day, an incredible thing happens - Kaede Ayase, a former pop idol and now an actor, comes to Hinana's school for a filming project.
